Bandcamp上では13枚目となる新曲"Thrive"をお届けする。前のシングルが1月2日リリースだったので、4ヶ月ぶりとなる。
最近はある特定のジャンルにピッタリと合致する曲を作ることで、三船寄道につけられたタグを揺るがすことにも多少は成功しているように思う。また、とある1つのジャンルにコミットする方法を取ると、自分の感覚だけで曲をつくるよりかはポップに聞こえるものになりやすいことがわかってきた。今回は"Localization"の中で次回予告的に配したAfrobeatsを採用している。次のアルバムまでのオリジナルシングルは多分Afrobeatsになるのかなと思っている。
また、歌詞に「愛する人」とか出てくるのだが、これは"loved one"のイメージで、特定の人ではなく、私のお気に入りの人々のことをざっくりと指している。今回もご一聴いただければ幸いだ。

I am pleased to present "Thrive," our 13th new song on Bandcamp.
Lately, I think I have been somewhat successful in shaking up the tag attached to Mifune Yorimichi by writing songs that fit a particular genre. I have also found that when I commit myself to a certain genre, it is easier to make a song sound pop than when I create a song based solely on my own sensibilities. This time around, I'm using Afrobeats, which I used in "Localization" as a preview of what's to come. I am thinking that the original single until the next album will probably be Afrobeats.
The lyrics of the song are "loved one", which is an image of "loved one", not a specific person, but my favorite people. I hope you enjoy the song.
