私三船寄道の42枚目のフルアルバムをお届けする。前作が3月1日のリリースなので、またもぴったり17日ぶりのフルアルバムのリリースとなる。タイトルは"思いのまま"という。
まず、タイトルのことから。意味はものすごくシンプルで、"思いのままになることなんて何にも無いね"ということを言っている。ジャケットにここまできちんと登場するのは"青春"以来なので相当久しぶりだと思うのだけども、このビジュアルイメージも割と早い段階から浮かんでいた。これは明治神宮の森の深い部分で撮っているのだけど、この森は朝鮮半島から植樹された林が100年を経て野生化したものなのだ。その鬱蒼とした森の中で所在無げに立っている俺、というのは、自分の力ではどうにもならないものに囲まれている、すなわち思いのままになんかならない、ということだ。14曲分のリリックのテーマも大体そんな感じだ。自分の力ではどうしようもないこと、コントロールしきれないことについてずっと語っている。
今回のサウンド面の話だけれども、これはサンプリングアルバムなのだ。実は。
全曲サンプリングのみで作成している。Bandcampでフリーダウンロードの音源をドカドカ落としてきて、元の曲がわからないようにチョップし、エフェクトをかけて加工し、グルーヴを作っている。全曲で使用したのはSugar BytesのEgoistというサンプラー(これはとても優秀かつ自由度の高いソフトなのでかなりおすすめ)。割とあっという間に雰囲気とか、それっぽさなら出せる。ただ、音と音の間が割と密に埋まってしまって、空白や余白を作るのには苦心した。音を間引くと曲に勢いがなくなっちゃったり、でも入れるとゴテゴテしちゃったり、みたいな感じで、行ったり来たりしながら作ったと思う。
BPMはまちまち。一番遅いのが最後の曲の"鉄"で、これは30しかない。一番早い曲で110とかだったと思う。
通して聴くと、案外リラクシンなアルバムになったんじゃないかという感じもする。ラウンジーというか、流し聞きするのが容易いアルバム、という感じだ。これは作者の感想だけれども。
今回ものんびり楽しんでいただきたい。Bon voyage.


I will deliver the 42nd full album of my 3rd ship. Since the previous work is the release on March 1, it will be the perfect release of the full album for the first time in 17 days. The title is "as it is".
First, from the title. The meaning is pretty simple, saying "There is nothing to keep in mind". I think that it is quite a long time since it was "youth" since it appears so well in the jacket, but this visual image also emerged from an early stage, relatively small. This is taken in the deep part of the forest of Meiji Shrine, but this forest is a tree planted 100 years after tree planting from the Korean Peninsula. I'm standing in the dense forest without being stranded is that I am surrounded by what I can not do with my own power, that is, I will not be as I wish. Lyric's theme for 14 songs is almost like that. I always talk about what I can not do with my own power and what I can not control.
Although this talk about the sound side, this is a sampling album. Actually.
All songs are created by sampling only. In Bandcamp, I downloaded the sound source of free download as a Dokadoka, chop it so that I do not know the original song, apply effects, process it, and make a groove. I used Sugar Bytes's Egoist sampler (which is very good and highly flexible, so it's highly recommended). Temporarily, I can give out the atmosphere, if it is the same. However, between the sound and the sound got densely populated, I was struggling to make the blanks and margins. I think that I made it while coming back and forth, as if I threw out the sound, the musical strength got lost, but even if I put it in, it got stiff.
BPM is mixed. The slowest thing is the last song "Iron", which is only 30. I think that 110 was the fastest song.
Listening through, I also feel that it was an unexpectedly relaxing album. It's like a lounge or an album that makes it easier to hear something. Though this is the impression of the author.
