私こと三船寄道の5枚目のフルアルバムをお届けする。今回のタイトルは"過去"と言う。タイトルには毎回さほど意味はないのだけれども、今回も大して意味はない。最近というよりは、ここ数ヶ月ずっと考えていたことの一つに、過去の中に未来はない、というのがあって、それを2017年の最後に形にしておこうと思った。
過去の中に今考えていること、悩んでいること、悩まされていることの答えは無い。ヒントになる事例ならあるけども、それが今や、これから出会うことに当てはめればそれで解決できるというものでも無いし。参考にしつつ、対処して行くしか無いよなぁ、という話。今回もきっちり12曲入っているのだけれど、12曲通してずっと言っているのはそういうこと。
前作"世界"からビットクラッシャーを使わない、というのをぼんやりルールとして定めていたのだけれど、今回もそれは踏襲している。ビートのある曲、ビートのない曲の配分はちょうど半々。ビートのある曲はBPM140だけで貫いてみた。タイトル曲の"過去"はもう少し元々はダブステップ感の強い曲だったのだけど、出来上がりはあまりその面影がない。
サウンド面の変化としては、今まで使っていた強目で、ノイズもかなり呼び込んでしまうコンプレッサーをかなり控えめにした。声にかけるのもUnfiltered AudioのコンプレッサーとCubaseに元々付いているプラグインのリバーブをとことん弱めにと言った感じで、目の前で何かしゃべっているかのような、生っぽさが上がった。間の取り方もなんだか、思いつきでその場で喋ってるかのような箇所すらある。
アルバム制作の佳境の時に、なぜかiZotopeのNeutronとOzone 7のプリセットが全部飛ぶ、そして再ダウンロードできない、という悪夢が発生した。クリスマスオファーということで、199ドルで最新版のNetron 2とOzone 8のスタンダードバージョンのバンドルを購入し、落としたら、ものすごく全体的なバランスと音のふくよかさが上がって、これは良かったということにした。音楽ってお金がかかる。
そんな感じで、今回も楽しんでいただきたい。

I will deliver the 5th full album of Mifune Branch. This time the title says "past". Every time in the title there is not much meaning, but this time there is not much point. Rather than recently, one of the things I had been thinking over the last few months is that there is no future in the past, I decided to shape it at the end of 2017.
There is no answer in what we are thinking, what is troubling, what is being annoyed in the past. Although it is a case to become a hint, if it is applied to what we are going to meet now it is not something that can be solved with that. While referring, there is no choice but to deal with it. I have 12 songs this time as well, but that is what I've been saying through 12 songs.
I had stipulated that we would not use bit crusher from the previous work "the world" as a blank rule, but this time it follows. Distribution of song with beat, song without beat is just half a half. I tried penetrating songs with beats with BPM 140 alone. "The past" of the title song was a song that was originally a strong dubstep feeling, but the result is not so remarkable.
As a change in the sound side, I used a strong stitch that I used so far and made the compressor considerably modestly attracting noise. I also heard a voice saying that the compressor of Unfiltered Audio and the reverb of the plug-in originally attached to Cubase were totally weak, as if I was talking something in front of me, the freshness rose . Somehow, there are even places like what they are thinking and talking on the spot.
There was a nightmare that some presets of iZotope 's Neutron and Ozone 7 fly and somehow can not be downloaded again at the time of creation of album production. By buying a bundle of the latest versions of Netron 2 and Ozone 8 in 199 dollars as a Christmas offer, if I dropped it, the overall balance and soundness of the sound went up so tremendously that this was good did. Music costs money.
With that kind of feeling, I'd like you to have fun this time.
