1枚目のフルアルバム"補聴器"をお届けする。
リリックの制作自体はBandcampのみの配信時代最後のアルバム"はずみ"完成直後からスタートしていて、それこそ40曲分にはなろうかという量のものが溜まっていたのだけれど、トラックの部分を作り始めたのが6月の末ぐらいからで正味は1ヶ月で作っている。
ジャケットに顕著なのだけれど、色味が帰ってきたアルバムなのだと思う。前作までのBPM80~90台だけで抑えるというのはやめて、一番遅くてBPM58、早くてBPM140まである。自分の声が載っていないと、俺の音楽じゃない気がしていて、でもトラックだけでも集中して聞くと、1回じゃ聴き取れないディテールが散らかっている。
四つ打ちとか、あえて展開しないトラックに自分を慣らすというのもやった。自然とできた。ビートレスの曲も多少。
音楽制作的な環境の変化自体はあまりないのだけれど、マスタリングソフトをついに投入して、若干音がふくよかになったかもしれない。ビートクラッシャーベタ敷き、みたいなこともあまりしてない。意外とフロアライクな曲もあるのでは、とも思ったり。
元々は"他人の地図"というタイトルだった。そこから楽曲のコンセプト自体はブレていない。"他人の地図"。これは何度か友人知人にも説明したのだけれど・・・。
"他人のために作られた他人の地図に従って歩いても、それが導くのは他人の目的地であって、自分のものではない。"
という、慣用句めいたことをずっと考えていた。
これを製作中にロンドンで一週間ほど過ごしたのだけれど、そこでSelf Regardsという新しい生きるためのコンセプトを見つけることができた。その意味の中に、Selfishとどれだけ違い、どれだけ同じかがわからない部分もあるのだけれど、もう少し自分のためにできることをやって生きていこうと、すごく当たり前なことを考えている。
製作中何を聞いていたかなぁとも思うのだけれど、最近は80年代のU.K.Dubを再考している。

Lyric 's production itself started from just after Bandcamp' s last album "Hizumi" was finished, and there was an amount of things that would amount to be 40 songs, but the part of the track I started making it since the end of June and I am making the net in one month.
It is remarkable in the jacket, but I think that the color is the album that came back. Stop suppressing with only BPM 80 to 90 until the previous work, it is the slowest, BPM 58, early to BPM 140. If my voice is not listed, it feels like it's not my music, but if you concentrate on just the tracks, you can not hear the details that are not heard once in a while.

There is not much change in the environment of music production itself, but it may be that the sound has become somewhat popular, after finally introducing mastering software. Beat crusher Beta bedding, I have not done too much. I thought that there are surprisingly floor-like songs.
Originally it was the title "Map of others". From there the concept of songs themselves are not blurred. "Map of others". I explained this to a friend of mine a couple of times though ....
"Even if you walk in accordance with the map of others made for others, that leads to others' destinations, not yours.
I have been thinking about idioms that I used to say.
I spent about a week in London while making this, but I was able to find a new living concept called Self Regards. In that sense, there are parts that I do not know how much different from Selfish, how much is the same, but I am considering what is quite common in doing what I can do for myself a little more.
I am wondering what I was listening to during production, but recently I'm rethinking the U.K. Dub of the 1980s.
